Bloomington – Doris E. Woith, 87 of Bloomington died at 7:50 AM on Wednesday October 26, 2016 at Heartland Health Care in Normal.

In keeping with Doris’ wishes there will be no visitation, no regret, no remorse, only the celebration of 87 years of life. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a private graveside service at a later date.

Doris was born September 1, 1929 in Bloomington to John J. and Etta Polite Justin. She married Robert Woith in Bloomington. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother.

She is survived by two children, Mike (Diana) Woith of Bloomington and Diane Spaid of Bloomington, three grandchildren, Susan Patrie, Ryan Woith, and Shannon (Dave) Stone, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Doris worked many years as a crossing guard for local schools. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomington.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Humane Society of Central Illinois.
